Dionysia Designs was created as a way to offer personalized services for writers without the high price tag that is common in the publishing field. We wanted a way to have plenty of what a writer needs to publish and take matters into their own hands.

Traditional publishing is no longer the only way to get your work out there and with self-publication becoming more accessible Dionysia Designs wants to help both fledgling and tenured authors get their books into the hands of readers.

Our company was founded by a fellow writer, and so he gets it – the dream. The hope to see someone mention your story, be impressed by what you’ve created, laugh at a quippy line. Though we say don’t judge a book by its cover, that’s not typically how the average reader does it. With a high-quality cover, proper formatting, and a big brave leap you’ll be one step closer to sharing the story you want to show the world.

The Man Behind The Covers.

Dionysia Designs was created by Royce Caledon, a long time member of the writing community. He’s an avid fan of horror and romantic literature. Writing has always come naturally to him, from that very first Star Wars fanfiction he wrote in a spiral notebook. This company started out as a way to make covers for his own works, but then spread as hobby grew to passion and now here Dionysia Designs stands.

  • What is the turn-around time for services?

Turn around time can vary per service, which may take up to 14 days.

  • How does payment work?

For premade covers payment is processed through our cart system, we accept many standard cards and online payment platforms. Custom projects including covers and formatting are made through a unique listing where you will pay through the Dionysia Designs website in the same way you would pay for a premade cover.

  • Do you offer formatting for children’s or picture books? 

This format is currently unavailable. However, we do format books with some images, including full page illustrations. Please reach out to us if you are uncertain if your project will be accepted.

  • Do you use AI in your services?

No, all Dionysia Designs covers, writing, and formatting services are done by hand and without the use of AI.

  • Can I use AI art for my cover?

No, AI art cannot be used for your cover. You however are welcome to use AI in your references and ideas to help paint us a picture of what you are looking for.

  • Do you create covers/designs for LGBTQIA+ or considered controversial topics?

Yes! Dionysia Designs is proudly owned by a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, we are happy to supply representative covers. We also are open to controversial topics, and covers that could be considered graphic.

  • Can I get an ebook cover and upgrade it later for printing later?

Yes, this would be done at a discounted rate and would qualify as a custom order.

  • Can I customize a title on a prebuilt cover?

Yes, if a cover is titled “Lorem Ipsum” or “Title” it can be customized at no additional cost. If the pre-made title has a full title it is a $30 USD fee to change the title. Author customization is always free and customizable.

  • Can I use commissioned art for my cover?

Yes, however Dionysia Designs requires to know who you commissioned the art from and that you have permission to use it. 

  • Who is R.C. Labette, I see the name on some of the covers?

The pen-name R.C. Labette is the author’s pen-name of Dionysia Designs founder Royce. 

  • How will I receive my services?

All services are sent via your chosen email in a zip file to assure quality. Covers are sent as a png, jpg, and pdf. Formatting is sent as a pdf and epub.

  • Do you resell book covers?

No, all our covers and designs both pre-made and custom are only ever sold once.

  • If I don’t like my finished product are refunds offered?

We do not allow refunds on our products, all services are completed by hand and are final sales. We do however offer unlimited revisions for custom covers during the creation process.
